Dr Christine Phillips
Christine has worked in refugee health care for 15 years. She is the Medical Director of Companion House Medical Service, the ACT’s refugee health service, and one of the founders of the Refugee Health Network of Australia. Her professional background spans general practice, public health and anthropology. She is also the Associate Professor of Social Foundations of Medicine at the ANU Medical School, and developed the Master of Culture Health and Medicine program. Her research area is quality in health service delivery, and has studied and published on refugee health services.
